FAQ

The questions vendors actually ask.

Answered the way we would answer them on a call, including the ones where the honest answer is that it depends on your account.

Can't our own team find and file these?
They can, and they already file the obvious ones. The problem is the long tail. A large vendor account generates thousands of small deductions a year across six or seven categories, each needing its own evidence set, and each with its own filing window. Ops teams catch the big shortages. Nobody has the hours for the rest of it, and Amazon does not flag them for you.
How much will we actually recover?
Most Amazon vendors see up to 3% of annual vendor revenue come back. Walmart vendors run higher, up to 5%, because vendor deductions there are messier. Across every brand audited so far, 100% had recoverable discrepancies. The free audit gives you a real figure for your account before you commit to anything.
How far back can you go?
Up to five years of Amazon transaction history. That matters, because Vendor Central only shows you claims from the last nine months or so, and the Review/Dispute Shortages screen only surfaces the last thirty days. Most of the recoverable balance sits in the part of the account your team cannot see from the interface.
Is it safe to give you access?
Access is limited and encrypted. We are added as a Contributor user with nine permission areas — financial reports, invoices, operational performance, payments, purchase orders, returns, shipments, promotions and Subscribe & Save. That is read access to transaction history plus the ability to file claims. No admin rights, no catalogue control, no pricing control.
What does it cost?
The audit is free. After that it is a success fee on cash actually recovered, starting at 25% and dropping as recovery volume scales. No setup fee, no retainer, no contract to start, and you are invoiced only once the funds are in your account. If we find nothing, you pay nothing.
We already use a recovery tool.
Most tools cover one slice — usually shortages, usually one marketplace. Worth comparing actual coverage line by line: chargebacks across every category, co-op accruals and the retroactive true-up, provisions, quick-pay discounts and past-due invoices. If your current tool covers all of that on every marketplace you sell to, you are in good shape. Run the free audit anyway and see whether it finds anything they missed.
How much of our team's time does this take?
About fifteen minutes to grant access, then effectively none. Celsius recovered $500K on under an hour of their own team's time. We only come back to you when a document exists solely on your side, such as a carrier's signed bill of lading.
Will filing disputes damage our relationship with Amazon?
Disputing a deduction is a standard, expected part of the vendor relationship — Amazon builds the dispute process into Vendor Central and staffs it. What we file is documented and accurate, which is the opposite of the volume-guessing that annoys vendor managers. We are not raising anything with your category team.

Still deciding?

Send the question rather than sitting on it. If the answer is that your account is not worth auditing, we would rather tell you that in an email than on a call.
